What does ADMD-L stand for ?
ADMD-L Association pour le Droit de mourir en Dignité- Luxembourg, founded in 1988, is a nonpolitical, nonreligious, but independent, humanitarian association working towards legislation on euthanasia and defending the individuals' right to decide about his end-of-life when suffering unbearably with no prospect of improvement.
ADMD-L demands recognition of a patient's last will and testament. ADMD-L believes that euthanasia and palliative care do not exclude each other and demands better care and attendance for dying persons.
ADMD-L promulgates information on depenalisation of euthanasia by publications, conferences and opinion polls; a petition on the subject is being run country-wide at the moment.
ADMD-L is member of Right-to-Die-Europe.
ADMD-L is a member of World Federation of Right to Die Societies.
